Why I’m Your
Design Wingwoman
I’ve been obsessed with interiors since childhood—swiping home catalogues and reimagining floorplans. But when math-heavy architecture was pitched as my only option (spoiler: I hate math), I detoured into politics. A degree and a soul-crushing EU stint later, I pivoted to storytelling in TV, film, and advertising. A master’s in the psychology of fashion and Hajinsky—a magazine devoted to the psychology of fashion—cemented my fascination with how people and design connect.
In 2020, I finally took the leap into interiors, combining psychology, storytelling, and design to craft spaces as bold and unorthodox as the people who live in them. Because I’ve walked the road from conventional to wildly creative, I can guide you out of cookie-cutter land and into a home bursting with character, rich in storytelling, and anything but boring.
Since then, I’ve worked hands-on on countless projects—wielding power tools, taming tricky wallpaper (including a ceiling at 7 months pregnant—don’t try this at home!), and learning exactly what it takes to bring a design to life. Whether I’m liaising with builders or wrangling project managers, I know how to whip a team into shape to guarantee the outcome we’ve envisioned together.

FAQs
-
Interior design is such a personal thing. It's vital to find a designer that you vibe with visually, as well as personally. It's that initial "click" that means so much from a project management perspective. Our initial consultation is where I get familiar with you, and your hopes for the project. Based on our conversation, I will also walk you through my process and what I think the best approach to your project would be, so you know exactly what to expect if we decide to make magic together.
-
I stick to Brighton and London for the full bells-and-whistles service but can still help if you’re farther afield. For those outside my stomping grounds, I offer remote design concept and development (see Rebel Rooms). You’ll get all the vision without me onsite—lucky you, no awkward measuring mishaps required!

From my own experience, I know that furniture goes far beyond the practical and is imbued with memories. I love nothing more than to incorporate existing items, finding out of the box ways of breathing new life into them and incorporating them into your interior scheme in a way that maximises space and functionality, while adding those layers of meaning and history.

My aim is always to be as resourceful as possible. This is not only great for your budget but also for the environment. I don’t believe that a complete gut renovation is always necessary to achieve a desired outcome. Instead, I employ a multitude of techniques to salvage existing architectural features (think painting tiles, refinishing floors, etc.) if this is something that is aligned with your vision.
The same goes for your existing furniture (see question about furniture that you already own). And for that extra ounce of unique character, I love collaborating with local artisans to make things that are not only bespoke to you, but also strengthen the local economy and keep carbon emissions at bay.
-
It won’t happen! This is your design, not mine. The process is fully collaborative, with feedback loops, approvals, and previews like moodboards and 3D sketches to ensure every decision reflects your style and vibe. Together, we’ll create a space that feels unmistakably you—promise.
-
No surprises here! We create a detailed budget and timeline upfront. If changes arise during the build, we’ll work together to adjust while staying true to the vision.

Some disruption is unavoidable, but my project manager works to make it as smooth as possible, handling roadblocks and keeping things on track for you.
